Mira Patel

Mira Patel covers the cost of owning a car, including insurance, maintenance and depreciation, as well as crash-test ratings and family safety. She spent nine years as a personal-auto underwriter at a national insurer and has spent the past several years helping parents install car seats correctly. She has a BS in actuarial science from Rutgers University and lives in Edison, New Jersey, with her family.
